Juhu Beach

Elephanta Caves
The beautiful sculptured rach-cut temple and Elephanta Island are 9 Km. North east of Appolo Bunder. Closed on Mon. Ordinary boats cost Rs. 60/-return and luxury launches, which are met at elephanta by a free tour guide cost Rs.80/-. Both type of launches leave every half hour front around *0900-1430 The last boat leaves daily from Apollo Bunder at * 1030 and returns at * 1400 and the fare is Rs. 90/-. For enquires 2875473.
Bassein Fort
The remains of the Portuguese fortified city of Bassein are on the northen side of river which separates greater Mumbai form the Indian mainland. After securing the area in 1534, the Portuguese built a city of such omaand, splendour with a cathedral, five convents and 13 churches, that it came to known as the court of the north, nearest railway station is vasai road and thereafter 11 Km by rickshaw.

Flora Fountain

JJ School of Art and Articulture
DN Road The JJ School of Art was founded in 1857 by Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy, a wealthy philanthropic Parsi gentleman. The decorative feauture on many of Mumbai's public buildings were carried out under his direction. His son, Rudyard Kipling, was born here in 1865. Nearest Station is CST(VT) (CR).

Gateway of India

Victorius Terminus
DN Road VT is now known as chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) and is Mumbai's Architecural masterpiece. This solid Gothic structure was designed in 1878 by FW stevens and cost 1.6 Millions rupees to build. It is the headquarters of Central Railway System consisting of 14 Platforms. It offer passenger amenties and also operates local trains.

Mahalaxmi Race Course
Lala Lajpatrai Road (Haji Ali) situated at Mahalaxmi, Opp. The Haji Ali Dargha, this world class race course was built under enthusiastic direction of Major JE Hughes. There are two enclosures, one for members and the other for the genral public. The Indian Derby is always in February. Mumbai's horse racing season runs from November to April. Dhobi Ghat

Marine Drive

Sevagram
